As one of the RNLI volunteers pointed out, the people they pick up are given directly to the authorities. Those that make it ashore themselves disperse and no one will know where they are.

It’s not the RNLI responsibility to pick these people up if truck driver is getting fine for them being in their trucks why are not they getting fined for going out and picking them up and bring them back in what’s the difference?

The RNLI volunteers maybe the people I am most in awe of. They volunteer, put their lives at risk to save others. No financial gain, in fact it can be quite the opposite, they practically dedicate their life to the job. Absolute legends.

The Women and Men who volunteer for the RNLI, represent the best among us, Fa-rage and co represent the worst. I stand with the RNLI. Donate provide training and equipment they need to keep themselves safe and ready to save lives if you can. We all need to get together to protect them from those racist thugs.

God bless the whole of the RNLI, from the administrators to the volunteers going out to sea, may they all stay safe and healthy so they can keep on doing their life saving work in other peoples hour of need. I’ve been personally affected and have had, undoubtedly, my life saved by the RNLI when a little rubber ring I was in when I was 5 got sucked out by a current and ended up quite a distance away from the coast. They were so amazing in helping me, as an autistic person, I find it harder to stay calm. I will always be in debt to the people that helped me that day. Shout out to the Whitby RNLI crew. Sorry this message is so long but I would never wish what I went through on that day on my worst enemy. God bless the RNLI. 💙💙💙
