The perspective of the large skeleton makes me think that we as the viewer are looking upwards. If we're looking upwards, then it doesn't make sense to ME that we are able to see the surface of where the smaller skeleton is sitting. I tried visualizing how I imagine the smaller skeleton should appear (sorry for the quality, I'm not an artist)

the pelvic bone in your first drawing is from a frontal perspective, like youre looking at it straight on, but trying to capture a worms eye view of the rib cage. but you corrected it in the remake. it turned out really good, btw. I like the looming feeling it gives

it looks amazing but I think the issue is mainly the two different perspectives and the larger skeletons's ribcage. It's at an angle, but the skeleton's right side is shorter than the left side when it should be the other way around, so that the sternum lines up with the spinal column.

I genuinely understand this. I don't think you'd be able to see the full front of a looking giant figure. Our POV is a little off center from the little skeleton's ledge, almost like a bypassing lower view. This also puts into perspective the size difference, with the giant in the background it makes the front skeleton even smaller since the closer they are to the front the bigger they should be. I think you have great contrast.
