I also don't like how they portray Hugh as a grown man who should be responsible for Katie’s feelings. The fact that he was mentioned as being smart doesn't make him an adult. He's just as much a teenager with his own problems and traumas - in the form of his father and Lizzie. They make it out that he specifically has to be the one to leave Katie, because she's sick, because she has abandonment issues. Seriously? And Hugh doesn't have problems? Maybe everyone should start taking responsibility for their own actions instead of dumping all the responsibility for Katie’s feelings onto Hugh
