They used to give us a tassel like the one you put on your cap at graduation, at the beginning of the year, and all the seniors hung it from their mirror. It was like our way of โstanding out.โ

It is a REASON to be stopped, not that you deserve a ticket for it, or even that most cops donโt care, but they can use it as an excuse to pull you over. Like the light on your license plate.
