and it’s the fact that rejection from black ppl leads to the immediate glamorization of white men and their treatment. like you didn’t move to any other minority group. the rejection didn’t just make you want to seek outside your race, but specifically within the most oppressive race. like i don’t believe that.

I got approached waaaay more often by white men and even asian men than black men and i know its because of where i live, what i look like and what i choose to wear. I didn't swear off all black men but knew numbers why I had a better chance at a relationship if was I didn't make a race a factor. I think anyone who fails to meet the beauty standard of their own race will often date interracially. Even someone as unbelievably gorgeous as Lucy Liu said she was considered too masculine / tan / ugly for Chinese media and men. White women who weigh over 150 lbs constantly get told well black guys would like you. You see it with black women as well Venus and Serena Williams, Whoopi Goldberg, Gabourey Sidibe. They were relentlessly, cruelly mocked for not fitting the black beauty standard why would anyone be surprised they went where they were wanted 🤷🏽♀️i think her response was ineloquent but I understand the underlying message.

Youre not wrong. I relate to fannitas experience though. In school the white boys who didn’t want me because fat or black just ignored. The black boys are who went out of their way to be cruel. I went to therapy to unpack that though lmaooo
