Mom made paper plates into pies, she put the multiplication tables on the plates and the answers on clothespins. Then she jumbled them up and made me match them. Memorized them, because she made it into a game. Moms who understand those of us with ADHD make the world better. I’m a teacher now and I spend so much time giving my students tricks to cope. I love this! I’m glad you are having those solid moments and memories of your Momma.

I love this! The memories we have of our moms after we lose them are like a warm hug from them from beyond. On my mom’s birthday, we go around and tell silly stories about my mom (my kids’ Meemaw). Often we do this via text since the kids are grown and have their own families. Some stories we roll on repeat, but sometimes a new one pops up and it just deepens the huggy comfort. 💙💙 Thanks Mom!

It’s funny how you put two and two together after your mom is gone. You see a lot of it if you’re blessed to have your mom with you well into adulthood and have a good mom. But one of the greatest joys and sorrows is after they pass, you see even more of how brilliant they were with you.
