On the surface what he said sounds intelligent however that is exactly what the 2nd amendment already says. It doesn't specify what type of arms we have the right to bare. As technically advances so do our rights to keep up with the technology of the day.

I agree and I have said this for a long time the forefathers had cannons on their properties because it was most advanced weapon at the time they didn’t say no I need a flint loco pistol they said I need a cannon because that is what the British have! If George Washington was alive today he’d want to have a tank!

the way the 2nd amendment is written arms means armament which means any weapon or weapon system is legal for anyone to own because the government cannot infringe on the armaments we can own.

Agreed but dangerous game to play think about how many people use guns for the wrong purpose by allowing citizens to get such weapons people and governments can use that to do things to us themselves without us realizing it plus do we really want YNs with drones that can explode?
