@pawportunities_rescue: Nearly all day every day, this is the position we find Rook in. On his back, barely moving. At first we all had heart attacks seeing him like this, because he was so still we thought he had passed. 😱 But if you watch his eyes long enough, he eventually blinks. We keep telling him things will get better. But with each passing day that he remains in the shelter, he is doubting our optimism more and more. He needs a foster or foster to adopt home. This will help make that new beginning we keep promising him seem more like a reality. He needs to be reminded of what it’s like to have a home and family to call his own.
