@tittokwithemily: Alix Earle @Alix Earle and her sister Ashtin @Ashtin Earle shared that they both tested positive for a BRCA2 mutation after their mom's breast cancer diagnosis. 💕 But what does testing positive for BRCA2 actually mean? It does NOT mean you have breast cancer. It means you have an increased risk of developing certain cancers, and your screening recommendations may look very different from those of someone at average risk. Your family history matters. Your genetic risk matters. And understanding both can help you and your medical team create a plan that's right for YOU. Emily Advice™ — not medical advice. This is TikTok, not your doctor's office. Where they found a 1.2cm mass. Ended up being TNBC! 😵 Wish I’d of don’t my preventative DMX wayyyy sooner 😭
