The movie is SO real, they don’t try to glorify anything about the dullness of Ian’s life. I personally love that. A lot of biopics tend to just show how “great” the person was while leaving out the wrongdoings/deep struggle. Paints them in some kind of glorious light. This does the exact opposite and represents how isolated, depressed and bleak his life ended up to be. It’s heartbreaking, but a spectacular introspective to how Ian was.
