What customers sometimes don’t understand is why we keep a box of bolts and nuts from scrapyards. If you’re a technician who takes pride in your work, you should know what bolt goes where. There shouldn’t be random mismatched bolts all over an engine. That box allows us to put the correct OEM bolts back where they belong, whether it’s the tappet cover or anywhere else, so the engine looks the way it’s supposed to. It’s about taking pride in your workmanship.

Im not a mechanic but i work on my own cars and i have a bak like this coz you always need a loose nut or bolt somewhere
