Your commentary on Wo is such an interesting counterpoint to the Chinese understanding of an individual as part of a relational web. It’s curious I have always seen myself as a blade even before your exposition. Perhaps it’s a subconscious drawing from the well of the collective Chinese psyche!

i beg to differ. the blade is a self protection tool in my hand: use it when needed. no need to exaggerate lonely as a big deal. all of us came into the world alone, hence it is only right if you can be comfortable alone. the rest that you experience and encounter are merely excerpts in your life.
