Being interested in others - curiosity for understanding - is connection. Knowing them and seeing them for who they are shows care, interest, and kindness! It works in so many spaces!

People, both men and women, love to be seen as interesting. Giving your attention and curiosity to somebody is flattering. By being able to read the body languages, you can see if the person is accepting your flattery or not. It’s a subtle way of gently saying no thank you. It doesn’t mean never, but it could be that the timing is just not working out for that individual right now. This is solid advice and actually reflects kindness. This can be used for pursuit of romantic relationships, or even expanding your professional Network. Typically in a professional environment people are a little bit more direct, but not always. This is good advice.
