I wish I learned this sooner: some bridges gotta burn.

That last category? Those bridges aren’t connecting you to anything worth reaching. They’re just keeping you trapped between who you were and who you’re meant to be. Burning a bridge isn’t about being malicious or “getting revenge”—it’s about prioritizing your alignment. It’s choosing your peace over someone else’s comfort. It’s deciding your future matters more than their nostalgia for your past self. So yes, they told me not to burn bridges. But some bridges are meant to burn. Sometimes it’s the only way to stop walking backwards into a version of yourself you’ve already outgrown.
