My great grandma had 3 kids she had pcos, my nana had pcos and she had 2 kids my mum has pcos and she has 3 kids

i don’t have periods. how do you get pregnant if you are not ovulating. i haven’t had a period in so long. i am terrified my future is with no biological children of my own. i’m scared. i’m always sat crying about it.

I was diagnosed with PCOS in 10th grade. I’ve gained weight, have irregular periods, and struggle with insulin resistance. Over the years, my boyfriend and I have become less careful about pregnancy. I think deep down, we know conceiving and caring a child might be difficult for me. It’s nice not worrying about pregnancy right now, but it’s heartbreaking/fear wondering if we haven’t been “lucky” all these years…

Hey just for any young gals here with PCOS— here’s your 35 year older sis talking. I was diagnosed at 18 in 2009 when PCOS wasn’t even a mainstream discussion. I freaked out. You’re going to be more than alright. You can still have children. You might even have multiples, maybe even twins! Take care of your health early. Take care of your mind, most importantly. It’s all connected. Don’t lose faith and just know it’s not a stamp on your forehead that says “spinster forever!” It’s not a death sentence. Here for any of you if you need it 🩷

I’m not even going to attempt to understand what y’all go through. Just know that you are loved and you are worth it. If you can’t physically have kids of your own, then be a mother to a kid who lost theirs 🫶🏽

I went undiagnosed for years. I started showing symptoms when I was a teenager. Tried to start a family and was officially diagnosed. Went to clinics, took medicine. Lots and lots of prayer. I’m excited to say that I now have a very healthy two year old. My pregnancy was healthy and so was her birth. It IS possible. 🩷
