@thetalesofnepal: To celebrate Indra’s freedom and honor Goddess Dagini’s blessings, the people of the Kathmandu Valley began a grand festival — believed to be the origin of Indra Jatra. The celebration brought together chariot processions of Kumari, Bhairav and Ganesh, the Pulukisi white elephant dance, the raising of the Yosin, traditional masked dances, and the magnificent displays of Swet Bhairav and Akash Bhairav.
