I have always been told that hrt caused 3 of ny dads sisters to gave breast cancer....ive seen videos lately saying this is not the case, which is it because its the only reason I haven't used hrt

No help whatsoever they throw antidepressants at you and send you on your way . Doctors have not got a clue about menopause.

the problem isn't even a lack of money, its a complete ignorance and lack of caring by NHS and GPs, to learn and put in place, upto date prescribing knowledge, and not the out of date terrible NICE guidelines.

My doctor was a WOMAN, same age as me and a “ menopause specialist “ She was the WORST person I’ve ever dealt with. Gaslit and dismissed my symptoms as having a mental breakdown even though it was every symptom of peri- menopause. Had to fight to get HRT, beg for some sleeping pills to help me just to get through and took weeks to call me back leaving me feeling so hopeless I didn’t want to be here anymore. Mental health support was disgraceful. Had to pull myself out of it, there was no guidance on HRT not even a bloody leaflet!! I learnt EVERYTHING from online and Reddit. This country is fucked 🤬 letting hard working women down!
