Yup! Chores without reward is the way, because if reward it teaches them ‘bribe’ culture & eventually they will think every good action needs reward

how do/will you give your child experience and exposure to money? I've grappled with this as I don't want to do an allowance for chores but I also want to give the child an opportunity to learn to budget, save, etc with real money early on. I've seen people give an allowance for going to school but not sure I want to incentive learning either.

An absolutely great strategy. Kids learning how to do basic chores doesn't make them weak, it teaches them the importance of pattern recognition, diligence and self reliance

I’m a single mom and I also have a toddler (2 years old) that is very independent. I feel as if the traditional schooling is not it. Especially because I grew up in the Caribbean and know the comparison. Next is making the decision to homeschool, which unconsciously I’ve already been doing. Love your content. 👍🏾

lol we are millionaires, but we are very well off. Our kids (only 3 &5), have absolutely no idea.😂 we live very a humble life, so I don’t think we will tell them until they can handle that.

I like it. I grew up sheltered and while I Loved all the love I got from my family I had to learn to be an adult on my own in many cases. This made me rethink how I would raise my child. I teach responsibility just like you two as well and basically from the same age. keep sharing, this works for us too.
