Day 1 & 2: 📍 Hanoi – Old quarter, pho, egg coffee, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Temple of Literature, Train Street Day 3 & 4: 📍 Ninh Binh - Trang An or Tam Coc boat ride, Bich Dong, Hang Mua, Bai Dinh Pagoda, Hoa Lu Ancient Capital Day 5: 📍 Ha Long Bay – Overnight cruise Day 6: 📍 Ha Long Bay -> Hanoi -> Night train – Sleeper train to Sapa Day 7, 8, 9 📍 Sapa – Sapa Town, Cat Cat Village, Trekking through Muong Hoa Valley, red dao herbal bath, Fansipan Day 10 & 11: 📍 Hoi An – Ancient Town, lantern boats, rice fields, An Bang Beach Day 12, 13, 14: 📍 Da Nang - Marble Mountains, My Khe Beach, Han River, Son Tra Peninsula, Lady Buddha 📍 Day Trip to Ba Na Hills or Hue You could easily spend weeks here, but I’ve come up with a detailed 14 day Vietnam itinerary designed to take you through the northern and central parts of Vietnam with the best bases for each leg of the trip.
