Do you think the transmission shop will tell you this? No they will change this, look at the clutches, and gears. Call it rebuilt and charge you 8 grand.

if my transmission is cold it does that, but if I warm it up before I drive everything is fine

I need help. I'm not sure if it's electrical or transmission. My mechanic can't figure it out. I had the alternator changed on a Nissan pathfinder 2015. After changing, car moves in drive and reverse until it warms up. It makes a loud noise like the engine is reving up. Once it warms up, the wheels lock and prevents car from moving forward. Changed the alternator again, Same issue with code p2815. The battery is died. Got a jump same thing but now once it warms up, it doesn't move forward or backwards. It makes a loud noise until it warms up.

My car uses cvt gear box… while driving suddenly it losses power and comes to a stall even though ive floored the accelerator… but the engine doesn’t die… anyone here can help if you guys know what could be the problem… thanks in advance
