It really isn’t that hard to understand. At the time, Tinker Bell was new and hadn’t discovered her talent yet, so of course the Winter Fairies were there to see if she might actually be a frost fairy. But she wasn’t—she was destined to be a Tinker Fairy. And with Periwinkle, she was exposed to the heat for much longer than winter fairies are supposed to handle, which is ultimately what caused her wings to break.

As far as I know, Tinkerbell would only be one movie but for some reason, after the first movie, they then decided to create more. Hence, the creation of other movies which are far more better in plot and storytelling.

Wait wait wait- another thing, there is a ice queen right? But on another movie from tinkebell where she meets her twin sister, there is a male king from the winter season side! So are there two or did they changed the leaders for no reason ?
