Maybe reframe it and have it be an “adjustment” as opposed to a “fail”. And it’s ok to have a day. We went to Universal over the weekend and I went over budget too, but we will adjust. You got this!

I shop in bulk and since things last more than one a week, I have to do my grocery budget in two week or one month chunks so shopping in bulk works
