I think the contradictions make him a more complex and real character. Like real people have good and evil in them, same with all the strawhats. The way i interpret sanji’s pervy-ness is just him being a typical man. Ofc I dont like this aspect of him, but that’s what make him a realistic real man

I interpret Sanji's pervertedness towards women as overcompensation for his sexuality. He believes he's straight and does everything he can to prove it, but as we see time and time again he has an underlying queerness. (A lot of this is headcanon but I believe it has the possibility of being a valid explanation)

oda likes to take inspo from greek and norse sometimes romam culture,history and mythology like with shanks ,the giants,ancient weapons, and etc .And i think that namis character got alot to inspiration from aphrodite like how they are both beautiful ,good with navigating and etc.But one thing that stood out was that aphrodite was born from the waves and her birth made the white Sea👀👀👀👀

Without the gag, he's actually the most likeable. He's strong, takes a bath daily, can cook and do chores so basically reliable, doesn't hurt women, intelligent---the little things he does/did had a great significance to the success of the operations, and he's a sunshine!
