@missy23232: Job interview tips from a recruiter who made hiring decisions for 20+ years. Most people have no idea how often they say 'um' or 'like' in an interview, so record yourself, slow down, and pause instead of filling the silence. Most people prepare for job interviews by memorizing their resume. That's not what gets you hired. I coach professionals on exactly what hiring managers are evaluating and how to walk into any interview as the obvious choice. I help professionals land the job, get the promotion, and show up like the leader they already are. #interview #interviewtips #careercoach #careertok #LearnItOnTikTok

I actively watch myself when speaking and just replace the umms with a short pause. I've had people start talking over me not realizing or just ignoring the fact that I'm mid-sentence and while annoying it helps you filter out bad employers/managers
