It’s been a fun ride Ian. A word of advice from someone older who was a very nervous traveler like you. In situations out of your control, don’t let them control your emotions in situations that are inconvenient but not life or death. Try to find the calm. Your calm, you just had TWO amazing experiences, your travel home was long but your timeline flexible. No 9-5 job you have to get back to or you’re fired, you have family waiting but they’ll be ok if you’re late. Allowing ourself to get worked up, anxious & enraged only affects us. The possible delay waiting for another flight is not fun & quite frustrating. The situation is out of our control end result is the same. Yes, do all that you can to help your situation but also take a deep breath, remind yourself you’ve been on these amazing adventures, parts of the adventure are not always perfect and it will be ok. Please know this comes from love and experience. As for the 1st Class people, maybe they had a flight to get to as well. I’m sure some did not just the same as some in economy that stood up too. Not all humans are considerate. They’ll get their karma in some fashion one day I believe. Thank you for taking us along your adventures. America will always welcome you. My grandfather was from Scotland and I hope to one day be able to go visit. It’s on my bucket list and you have made it even more of a desire. 🇺🇸❤️🏴 🗣️No Scotland No Paaaartyy
