They'll get hurt against Barca if they don't improve

Honestly speaking I don't know what the solution could be for our pressing problem

So your saying our luck with these games are eventually gonna run out cuz what if we win bares like there still errors but I think we played who could score more kinda like psg and Bayern and they were successful in their seasons

off topic but what would be your ideal starting for Liverpool and PSG and if that does happen do you think Maresca should continue with this system of his, cause I think against better teams we are going to struggle massively esp if he keeps Cherki and Enzo in midfield.

fidi_vk19 :
so cherki, Enzo and haaland are our problem offball 😭 Is this sustainable long term?

the midfield is genuinely so concerning it's genuinely just Anderson Enzo is out hugging the touch line cherki bless him he looks lost 90% of the time when we don't have the ball and haaland just jogs around unfortunately my manager will never bench Enzo for the good of the team

🦅 :
Haaland is a weak presser so he needs someone who's a good presser next to him. A 10 that capitalizes on his box movement and has the carrying ability to receive from him in transition is more optimal (NOR)

So why does it seem to be working. We got one goal from such pressing yesterday

Da Bebe :
It also doesn’t help that Anderson is often over aggressive (caused a Sunderland goal). Bouaddi helps massively. Midfield 3 of Bouaddi, Enzo, and Anderson needed against Liverpool with Cherki at RW and Nunez overlapping.

gvardiol is absent his position 90% never play him LB and cherki saMenyo haaland all poor defending pressing and link

Maresca should take these 3 weeks to fix his press man. I get the feeling at least 1 OOP liability is about to be sacrificed

With our personnel I don’t think we’d ever be able to perfectly implement this man to man system, it’s best we stick with the zonal one

man citys press is so shambles, the way Sunderland just bypassed that press without any struggle is alarming. Maybe maresca needs to learn from Brighton how to press
