@londontheinside: This Chinese teahouse is brewing things a little differently @Lotus Realm opened over the summer as the 'first modern teahouse' in the UK. Their take on tea is certainly beyond your standard cuppa. There's an extensive menu of milk teas, layering traditional Chinese brews like Tieguanyin oolong and jasmine green tea with unexpected flavours such as strawberry, hot chocolate and even green sichuan pepper. For the purists, there are also classic white and black teas, available hot or cold. The highlight though is the tea-infused mousse cakes, which taste as good as they look. Once you're finished zenning out upstairs, head down to the bar for a tea cocktail. Our favourite combined Shoumei white tea with vodka, dry vermouth, fig and blackberry.
