Defiantly AI involved, it is confirmed. But its not Gatcha, becuse they removed it from the game before launch due to mass negativity. It WAS a gotcha game. But that aspect changed later. As for AI slop, Idk if id call it slop... but its defiantly lazy designing.

Love the game so far unfortunately yes there is bits of AI mostly noticeable in some items, the example here is the rope isnt linear and distorts midway, also most evolution stones’ inner art look a bit odd but cant confirm if its generated, but from an artist point of view theyre overly detailed in some like the roar and gust stone for basic elements. Hopefully these are just “placeholder” pictures and will be replaced in the future.

There was some thought prerelease that it MIGHT have Gacha mechanics. I still think the game is one that might (MIGHT!!) go that direction eventually. But alot of it comes from people who played the beta and while reviewing their experience in the beta said that it may have gacha mechanics on release. The AI thing... I can understand why they think that way, tbh. People are hella suspicious of everything now, and Aniimo's art style lends heavily into what people think AI assets look like but the catch is that it's just the art style. Ive not really seen anything to definitively say it's AI, though some of the wording is weird. Im almost positive they used AI in translation.

I wish they had a gacha system tbh. it would be so fire. Anyways, I'm pretty sure they used at least a bit of ai. If you go on ur RV plot thingy you can press a certain button, I think it was 5 or 6 and for me it opened up a menu where it is pretty obv that they used ai. For example there is a picture of the carousel mill with a horse who has a head on the front and on the back and there is also a fishing spot where a plank lwk morphed into the other plank.

Most if not all of the music I've heard so far in the game has been pretty clearly AI. It was very noticeable, especially in Astra in places like the cafe. Other than that and the low quality of the translated text that kinda reads like AI, I haven't seen anything else that screams AI usage.
