My fistula closed up for 6 months, all pain went away, then……pain returned to the point I was bed ridden for 2 days. My wife had to “pop” it with a needle. It then burst, pain immediately went away. After this episode I went private to have a seton fitted. That was 2 years ago. I pray for a cure.

2 weeks for a telephone appointment for results is ridiculous. surely if it's not urgent they can put them on NHS app

You don't have anything like Mychart in the UK. It is an App and as soon as your results are available, you can view them.

Also Owen, A gel seat cushion for car journeys will help, Amazon has them. The covers are washable. It will make car journeys easier for you if you haven’t already.
