Golems are slow, redstone sorting is still much better than them. You can make them better using more meaning less fps in your base.

i literally made a whole waterless sorting system using just hoppers and had to make an iron farm to fund my hoppers. copper golems next day

Copper golums aren’t worth the effort. Take forever to sort everything and mess up too much. Just comparator sorting for me

Golems also make a lot of noise, and sometimes can place things in the wrong chest from where youd want it. Plus each golem can only be assigned up to 5 chests?
