@familyofficeclub: Nobody wants another cold email asking for something. Especially investors. Richard's point at a recent Family Office Club event was simple: if you're not relevant to their industry, city, interests, or something they're actively working on - and you're not bringing specific value - why should they respond? Reverse the exchange. Instead of asking "What can I get from this investor?" ask "How can I make this one of the most valuable messages in their inbox?" Be specific. Be relevant. Understand what they're working on. Find a genuine way to add value before you ask for their time or capital. And whenever possible, get out from behind the inbox and build the relationship in person. Capital raising looks very different when the first interaction creates value instead of requesting it. What's the last message you sent that gave before it asked? #Investors #CapitalRaising #InvestorRelations #FundManagers
