Everyone welcome the newest member of the Hughes family, the @Dyson USA Airstrait! I posted a question box in my Instagram stories & had a pretty overwhelming response from people wanting more info about it. So I thought I’d share my thoughts here as well… 💭First things first, I’m a Dyson ho! 😂 I love their products. I’ve owned at least 4 different vacuums, a fan, the Supersonic hair dryer, the Airwrap & now the Airstrait. No surprise here, I love the Airstrait too! 💭I don’t think everyone needs this, but if you have hair that requires you to blow it out & then use a straightening iron to have straight hair, you’re probably gonna need this! 💭It does the job of both hair dryer & straightener in about 15-20 minutes (for my hair) with WAY less heat & damage. For reference: My hair is naturally wavy & frizzy. It’s very curly at the root & straighter/dryer on the ends. 💭You can use it on wet or dry hair. I touch up Emmerson’s hair with it in the mornings & it makes it so smooth, straight, shiny, but not completely flat like when I use a straightener. I even used it to straighten my hair when it had air-dried curly & it worked perfectly! 💭 It is heavy, so beware of that if you have any sort of shoulder issues or struggle with blow drying your hair normally. 💭 Worth it? That’s always subjective. Regular price is $499 & you’ll occasionally see them for 20% off. I think it becomes worth it if you figure your price per use & the amount of time it saves you blow drying + styling. If you bought it 20% off & use it every day, it’s like a little over a dollar day… I can help you justify it however you’d like 😆😆 💭 I personally love it & can’t believe I didn’t get it sooner! It truly does make styling my hair straight so much faster & easier. ✨Special shoutout to the @Dae Hair 3in1 styling wand. It’s the first Dae product I’ve tried & I have been so impressed! I love keeping it my purse to tackle frizzies & fly-aways without making my hair look or feel gross. I’m pretty sure Vanessa ( @goalstogetglowing ) or maybe her niece recommended it.
