i’m getting married on saturday and the timing coincides with my dad passing away 1 year ago. I found out he went palliative on my wedding date and I stayed by his side for the full 7 days it took for him to pass. He died october 6th. I started a new job on that date. I threw myself into this job to survive the grief throughout the last year. hardest job of my life. gave so much of myself to it. found out on Friday my contract is not being extended so I will be jobless after my wedding while also experiencing the 1 year mark of dad. Having a rough go… thank you ❤️

We’ve had our calendars marked for the 8th annual Day of the Dead River Parade for months, and @VisitSanAntonio is transforming @SARiverWalk into a larger-than-life celebration on October 23. Illuminated barges drift down the river with art, music and performers, and last year more than 20 took part. It starts at 7pm, and about 35,100 people lined the River Walk last year, so grab a ticket for designated viewing spot soon or claim a spot along the river for free!
