@doctorshefali: When your son is angry, don’t just tell him to calm down. Teach him how to calm down. Big emotions can feel overwhelming, especially when anger is the easiest emotion to express. Help him learn to move that intensity through his body, take a pause, and then come back to understand what’s really underneath the anger. Anger is allowed. Aggression is not. And emotional strength comes from learning that you can feel something deeply without letting it control what you do next. My book Raising Conscious Sons gives parents practical tools to help boys regulate, understand their emotions, and grow into emotionally strong men. Comment BOOKS for details!
