A man who sexually assaulted a woman and in a separate incident, a 14-year-old girl on the street has been put on the sex offenders register for five years. Abdul Barkeeh Salihi, 24, of no fixed abode, was sentenced to five years on the sex offenders register at Inner London Crown Court The Afghani national pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault and one count of criminal damage committed on the 28 January 2025. After the sexual assault on the 14-year-old girl, Salihi was confronted by her family in a restaurant in Leadenhall Market, in an incident which ended with him throwing a chair through a window. During his arrest, officers became aware that he was wanted in connection with a sexual assault the same day. Salihi had slapped the bottom of a 42-year-old woman after following her for a short distance along Lombard Street. #London #arrested #sentenced #news
