As this brilliant nurse said - a lot of sudden cardiac deaths can result from underlying /congenital (born with) cardiac conditions, if you are aged 14- 35 you can get a free cardiac screening from CRY (cardiac risk in the young) I am running on their team for the London marathon. Never taught I would ever love cardio this much because it appeared volatile initially. First day on ward for cardio placement changed my orientation and I started to love and wanting to know more. Even as a nqn, I applied for a role in cardio, despite adverts stating 1 year experience required, got shortlisted, interviewed and passed but couldn’t proceed cos was offered reduced hours 🥲 and actually wanted ft. Thanks for this video 👌
