If £300 is Future You, let that money leave automatically too. Because the dangerous part is not helping family. It is allowing every new request to renegotiate your entire financial life. Your mother can still get help. School fees can still be supported. Emergencies can still happen. But Future You must become one of the people your salary supports every single month. That is how generosity becomes sustainable instead of becoming the reason you never build wealth.
