@ruxandramocean: Not every Romanian incantation was meant to make something leave. Some were meant to make someone come. Episode 4 of Magical Formulas in Romanian Witchcraft enters the world of ursită — love, fate and the calling of the desired one. Here, the language changes from banishment to attraction: “I do not boil the comb. I boil his heart.” The object burns, but symbolically, so does the person. No sleep. No peace. No rest — until the distance between the desired person and the one calling them is finally closed. It is sympathetic magic expressed through words: what happens here, happens there. As the fire burns beneath the vessel, desire is commanded to burn within the heart. Romanian love magic was not always about whispering sweet things to the universe. #RomanianWitch #witch #witchcraft #LoveMagic #occult
