When they finally got together he wanted him to take accountability, thinking he’d change and he couldn’t handle the truth and kept talking over him. He did what he had to do. The strong emotions he’s feeling in this moment isn’t worth feeling the rest of his life. So he left him on the side of the road because the self respect is stronger than the disrespect from your own blood.
