If you haven’t yet, when I got mine pierced I slept on a neck pillow and put my ear in the gap bc I do switch sides when I slept.. it only took my industrial like 6ish months maybe less to heal and some people think a neck pillow doesn’t do anything but I live by it

my industrial took about a year to heal- it still hurt when i changed the bar 9 months in and then one day it just stopped hurting. my front never caused me any issues however the bottom part still has a little bump on it so i would say it looks good! but the pain oh god is so bad!!

For my piercings, I would put wound wash (or whatever piercing cleaner you use) on cotton pads and put them in the fridge and it helped soooo much omg. I’d just lay down and put them on and let them sit for like 10 mins/room temp 🙂

I feel as though you should have gotten a longer bar by default with the gauging to account for the swelling…I would also try to keep your hair back to keep dirt and oil away from it as much as possible
