@mortgagefreeleigh: 🚨 Scam Alert 🚨 I am a family finance content creator but that didn’t stop us getting scammed!! Someone got my husbands bank card details (we have absolutely no idea how) and then used them to make about 9 small orders on Amazon!! This didn’t immediately raise an alarm with my husband because I am on his Amazon household so he must have thought it was me and they were normal amounts so nothing especially unusual. Fortunately when I review our budget, I cross check the Amazon spends with our Amazon account to see what we bought and I couldn’t find these 9 transactions on our history. It was SO confusing at first but when we heard the card was being used on another account we knew we’d been defrauded! 💸 Thankfully we didn’t lose more and we got our money back really quickly but we will be setting up some bank alerts to make sure this can’t happen again! #fraudawareness #budgetingtips #budgetwithme money saving mum money saving tips storytime yap uk mum
