It ticks me off Ford (GM, RAM, Nissan, Toyota....) would put a critical function (fuel) controller under the chassis that is exposed to heavy contanimation.

Had a Tacoma come would do nothing when you pushed started it it would only kick on the combination meter lights and what not like putting it in accessory mode but later found out it has a aftermarket remote start if you used the key fob to start it it would turn on but like it’s supposed to if you open the door or touch the brake pedal it dies found out that the steering wheel lock but it wouldn’t unlock hence forth keeping it from turning on if you pulled on the connector for the steering wheel lock a certain way it would not unlock that was fun

For people that don’t know if the driver goes bad you can jump the connector and and by pass the driver and it will run
