Stop messing with it and it will catch up. It takes a lot longer for those larger ones to heat at the vessel itself.

Wait. Wrap tin foil around the top like a crown with the edges slightly curving in while lit and it will basically push the heat back in making it burn more evenly. They probably make an official thing to handle this issue, but I do that with my candles that tunnel and it always works!!

Removing melted wax isn’t going to do anything but slow it down from melting completely. You’re best bet is covering it with tinfoils with holes it in or just letting it burn for hours.

Have one of these made , I went to a local sheet metal shop and they made me this out of aluminum 👍I use it if I need to hurry the candle along or if I trim to short but just lays over the top and makes the candle pool evenly … and you don’t have to wrap foil around it !

The problem is that you turn it off to quickly. You MUST let it burn for at least a few hours every single time..

Same! I trim the wick of every candle…including diptyque. The diptyque candles always get fucked up. So, the last diptyque candle I bought, I refrained from trimming the wick and it burned perfectly.

Candle maker here! it’s because the jar is bigger at the top so the wick is a bit smaller but be patient and burn it for long hours it will catch up

Wrap with foil around the candle and it will fix it. You don't have to leave the foil on forever, just until the burn evens out and the candle stops tunneling.
