@gator.xpedition: If you are visiting Portugal, you have to visit Fátima. Whether you are Catholic or not, this place will move you. There is an energy here that is difficult to put into words. It is so immense that you see people simply stop, become overwhelmed with emotion, and cry. There is a profound sense of peace, faith, hope, and something much greater than ourselves. Fátima is one of the most important Marian apparition sites in the world, where three shepherd children reported witnessing the apparitions of the Virgin Mary in 1917. More than a century later, millions of pilgrims continue to come here carrying their prayers, gratitude, pain, and hopes. You don’t have to be Catholic to appreciate what this place represents. Some places you visit. Others, you feel. Fátima is one of those places. 🤍🙏 #Fatima #Portugal #OurLadyOfFatima #GatorXpedition
