I’m was a property manager to an apartment that had issues like this. I would harass the postal office and they make us put a “work order” which took 3-4 months. The. We were finally able to order actual mail boxes and that took 2 months to get delivered and install.

this is 100% the complex fault. there is not one apartment/ condo/ townhouse complex that delivers to individual houses anymore. okay there might be some not that's something they are getting rid of.

How did I know this was Vesty park?!? I didn’t know either until I moved here. Been here since early July and and still no mail. When I asked they said that the postal service has to come and fix them. There’s so many other issues with the apartment. Here’s a review I left that I’ve since deleted after having a conversation with the property manager. Btw I found a cockroach in my kitchen literally the day after posting the review. It’s really long so I’ll post it in the replies but I really recommend reading it if you want to know the extent of their neglect.

USPS doesn't provide and install mailboxes. The complex is supposed to purchase and install the boxes. I used to work with HOA's and when a communal box was damaged and had to be replaced we had to contact a third party and pay for the box. USPS works with the third party to be sure they have access but it would be the property management company's responsibility to provide and distribute keys.

An old complex I lived in dragged their feet to repair our communal mailboxes. When we got a new USPS carrier they implemented the rule that our boxes must all be lockable. Since a few did not all mail delivery stopped. For months I had to go to USPS during peak holiday season. This was inconvenient because I work in Cannabis and get home with less than 30minutes of usps. Losing. Resulting in less than comfortable waits to pick up my mail.

USPS won't deliver my stuff to my house cause they don't like where my mailbox is on the street . it's on the wrong Street I guess so they refuse to turn down that street so I have to go to the post office but I can't get there every week. I've had so much stuff sent back away and there's a lot of things missing. I hate the post office for that I can't even get my mail.

girl your ass can literally catch the 16 bus right on 14th Ave you live across the street from the Decatur station. the 16 heading towards Broadway way drops you off on the side of the court house just walk across the court house and boom you there. idk why people are ashamed to use public transportation shit I use it all the time.

they sent out memos to all residents and in the front door yes they stop delivering mail for they can get new mail boxes and we have to pick up mail at the post office so that lady has all her mail at the post office
