As a vet I laughed bc this is relatable as hell. Then I read the comments 😳 She’s not bathing her dog in acid and while dogs do benefit from shampoo that’s ph balanced for their skin, shit isn’t exactly ph balanced either- a vet who’s given her dogs several on the go baths using human products. Dog specific shampoos can give your dog really nasty skin infections too when they sit under your cabinet for months at a time and grow bacteria!

as a dog groomer, using olaplex in this situation is fine. It out of necessity. As long as you rinse all the shampoo out and don’t do it regularly, your dog will be completely fine.
