Of course, at some point, state elections can influence Germany on a national level, in the BundesRAT, so the chamber of the 16 states, but we are not there yet

It’s the same everywhere more or less. Traditional parties offer no real solutions bring under the thumb if corporations and oligarchs so people seek solutions promised by those parties further out. I’m a leftie but the drift to both extremes has more to do with desperation than ideaology. Of course history shows that the billionaires will happily fund the extreme right to protect their assets leading to more and more fascism unless people resist. We’ll see. Ich bin zu alt für diesen Scheiss.

I have a feeling that, in the future, Germany could end up divided again, like in the 1900s — with a West Germany and an East Germany. That’s just my opinion. If that ever happened, we could see which side would benefit more.

I want a reform to happen, but his suggestion on reform is the wrong kind. He does not address the root cause of things but does take out crucial benefits. Things he suggests are so against women benefits such as fewer paid maternity leave, and not so much choice on mino jobs. These are all targeting working moms and people in need. If I get the same money working and being in bundes geld guess what I am gonna do 🤷‍♀️
