girrrrrrl friend. the solid color goes on the "inside" up against your chest(baby sits with back against solid color). and the checkers go away from you. & pretty sure you have it upside down. the thick part you have closest to you... with the clips go around your waist. the part that's hanging down toward the ground goes closest to your head. I hope I'm making sense 🥹
