What a waste of time, and energy. I hired you to fix an issue I couldn't. Id prefer it go quicker than not where we can both move on. It sucks that the people make you feel like you have to waste time. The worst I do (when I think someone is BS-ing me) is make sure to get an invoice, a basic explanation and then I take that info to another expert who can chime me in or beat the price and time. And that's only after shady behavior (not explaining the issue) or reoccurring issues with services and products.

all the people saying "just get in and out" don't deal with customers 😂 I don't have a job like this but I totally get it. smth my dad used to say a lot is ur not paying for their time but their knowledge, theyre the ones who went to school for X amount of years to be able to do the work

I work for appliance company and I’m the regional service manager…. Someone complained so much it got to me…. She like all he did was screw in one thing and yall charged me so much. I could have fixed it….. I just sat there and told her well his knowledge of what screw to replace and tighten are why this repair costs what it does.
