I’ve done both. I’ve used numbing cream on the back of my knee and top of my foot, didn’t take the pain away completely but I did find it took the edge off. I did speak to my artist first

I've never tried numbing cream but would always go without as the pain is part off it. I kinda enjoy it though

I didn’t even no numbing cream was a thing until my last 2 tattoos, I wouldn’t use anyway it’s not apart of the process for me !

When you sit for over 12 hours with dan himself tattooing you, numbing cream was my saving grace. Im good with pain but after so long your body starts to give up on ya and it helped me grit down for the last couple hours 😅

I've never had numbing cream but I'm currently doing blackout and I'm at the top part of my arm and I've told the artist I'm numbing up when I come back haha 😂😂😂

had 5. 2 on my spine, 1 on my ribs cage and 1 on each of my hands. am quite bony but had no numbing cream for any. my rib cage one is quite big and took an hour

Some people just can't handle the pain, id rather sit still with numbin cream than suffer in silence n twitch n move about with the pain, my numbing creams wore offf a few times n iv sat n suffered n it was horrendous,,,

I’ve never used numbing cream I see it as abit of a novelty because once it stops working there gonna be hit with the pain anyway. Just grin and bear it. Wouldn’t say anyone is a pussy for using it I just don’t see the point.

Why would you be in more pain than needed? Also allows you to sit better for the artist as well! But people will always say without as if they are a hero! Ain’t no hero of mine 😂😂

I can’t cope with the pain, little ones yes no problem but big ones nope, the numbing wasn’t on long enough when I got my tattoo down my side done on my ribs and I thought I was gonna die 😳🤯😭🤣 so I will always choose numbing cream!

I had my whole back and both arm sleeves done without it, and then my tattooist introduced me to numbing cream when I had my leg sleeve, no brainer to sit with no pain

I had my whole throat without numbing cream but then when I had my calves done I had to have cream but then on the shin I didn’t my body if very weird😂
